Job Description

Role Information- Shift Engineer, DRI
Roles & Responsibilities
Record and Monitor hourly Maintenance metrics and in case of any concerns highlight the issue to Shift In-charge and Area In-charge
Handle shift activities and coordination with process team to achieve healthiness of Electrical & instrumentation equipment
Carry out daily communication with CMD informing them about condition(health status) of machines & equipment
Prepare detailed daily log reports, carry out entry on SAP production module(PM Order, notification, shutdown compliance) and check
attendance of contractual manpower
Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for seamless operations of DRI unit
Carry out root-cause analysis of shift breakdowns/failures/deviations and maintain record for actions taken for perusal by Section/Area Incharges
Supervise indirect contractual staff workers and provide support to Shift In-charge to maximize shift productivity
Provide support to maintenance team, shift in-charges to resolve on going production loss issues and implement process improvement
initiatives to decrease MTTR and increase MTBF
Interact with shift team members for proper usage of safety equipment in the plant and ensure regulatory and legal compliance to health,
safety and environment norms
Communicate internally with maintenance teams for ensuring adherence to operational preventive maintenance compliance and minimize
operational delays
Explain various issues, problems as well as propose solutions & initiatives to internal stakeholders such as section in-charges & area in-charges
Knowledge & Experience Required
Typical role requires a professional experience of 3-4 years in handling Maintenance with Bachelors in Engineering background
